Please help! Mom's affidavit

Hello all,
My mom has an appointment for visitor visa at Chennai on next tuesday. I prepared all the documents. Thanks to this forum for helping alot. Well my question is " In The sample affidavit for mom, at the end it says deponent, sworn before me". Does that mean i have to get it notarised. or just a signature of my mom is enough?. Please reply.

yes, I 134 has to be noratised. It is a must.

thank you. I already got the I-134 notarised. Iam asking about "sample affidavit for mom" where she is going to write about the reasons for her to go back to india. A sample affidavit is there in the visitor documents. Please some one reply to this. my mom is waiting for my response.

Yes Affidavit for your mother must be notarised as well.
