I am not an expert, just my 2 cents.....

Check this link https://www.immihelp.com/us-visa-app...n-form-ds-160/ it says for boxes 1-14 you may amend any time, your printed application form, in case you made a mistake. DO NOT PRINT ANOTHER FORM.

So keep urself cool and make the necessary corrections on the printed form. That should be fine. Hope this helps.

If you have mistakenly filled out the passport issue date (question number 4) on your passport application and are facing an upcoming interview, taking prompt action is crucial to rectify the error and ensure a smooth application process. Begin by reaching out to the appropriate passport office or agency where you submitted your application. You can find the contact information on the official government website or any correspondence you have received.

In your communication, be transparent about the mistake and provide the correct information regarding the passport issue date. Honesty is key to ensuring that your application is processed accurately. Seek guidance from the passport office on the necessary steps to correct the error. They may provide instructions such as filling out a correction form, supplying supporting documents, or attending an additional appointment.

If documentation is required to support the correct passport issue date, gather the necessary materials, which may include your original passport, a copy of your birth certificate, or any other relevant documents. Attend your scheduled interview and inform the interviewer about the error. They may be able to make a note of the correction during the interview process.

If a correction form is needed, ensure that you complete it accurately and submit it promptly. Adhere to any additional instructions provided by the passport office. It's essential to be mindful of processing times, as correcting information in an already submitted application may impact the overall processing timeline. Allow sufficient time for the correction to be processed, especially if you have upcoming travel plans.

Following the submission of the correction, proactively follow up with the passport office to confirm that the necessary changes have been made to your application. This step is crucial in preventing any further delays in the processing of your passport application. Keep in mind that specific procedures and requirements may vary based on your location and the passport issuing authority, so it is important to refer to the guidelines provided by the relevant passport office or agency for accurate and up-to-date information.
