My parents got visa!

Thanks for the precise documentation of each process.
This site is like a 'One-stop-shop' for immigrant knowledge.

Both my parents had applied for visa for the first time.
Interview was in Chennai in english. They stayed in Palm grove, a nice hotel they said.

They had 3 files (just as mentioned on this site)
1) DS156, Visa fee receipt, interview confirmation letter, passport
2) Sponsor docs
3) Visitor docs - financial statments

They were asked only 2 questions:
1) how many children? two
2) which one is in US?

They were told they will get passports by courier.
They didnt look at any other docs nor asked for it.

surprisingly enough, they got their passports in just 2 days!!
with 10yrs multiple entry visa!!
