Dear Immihelp,
My parents' I-539 (extension of B1 visa) just got denied this Sat. 2-27-2008. In the denail letter, it said "USCIS is not initiating removal procedures against you at this rirne. The decision resulting in the denial of Form I-539 leaves you without lawftl irnrnigration stams and you are now present in the United States in violarion of the law. You are required to depart the United States within 30 days {iom the date of this decision, or be subject to removal proceeaings." They will leave ASAP. My question is: how will this denial affect their future entering US and green card application? Should we file an appeal or re-motion?
