Hi
My parents are New Zealand citizens. They are presently in India and I am applying for a visa for them to come and stay with me and my husband for 6 months. They are planning to go to New Zealand (where my brother is) after their stay in US.
My father is retired and my mother is a homemaker.
The issue here is that they do not require a visitor visa to the US if they intend to stay for less than 3 months as part of the visa waiver program.
I am a little nervous that the interviewer may feel that a 3 month visit should suffice and reject their application on this account.
What are the chances that this could happen?
Are there any specific questions that they should prepare for? Are there any other issues that we should watch out for?
Please help.
