    Hi,

I have expired US drivers license as I was working in US before. Now I am planning to visit US on B2 visa. Will I be able to renew my license since I have my SSN and drive in US during my visit there ?

    Difficult to say ...

... things are very tight in the United States. Also depends on your state and specific MVS/DMV office plus the individual who's very cooperative or not.

Though, you should definitely try. However, you may not get a full term license but within the limits of your stay or visa.

    Take care.

Depends on the state. Some go by I-94 status and some just go ahead and renew if you have a valid SSN without any problems. You have to check the respective DMV website as to what their requirements are.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

There should be no problem as long as you have some proof of address in that state. The duration of your license will most probably be according to your I-94. Also, if you get an International Driver's Permit you can drive with your foreign license also. In fact in some states you don't even need the IDP, only foreign license is good enough.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
