  • Visitor Visa for parents-In-Law

Hello All, First of all let me thank you the moderators of this wonderful website which has been helpful in my immigration needs.

    Case:

I want to sponsor my parents-in-law visitor visa.

    About myself ...H1b holder.
    My wife...h1b holder.

Instead of only one person sponsoring the beneficiaries we thought to support together thereby strenghthening the case. I wanted to know what all documents will be needing and any other way of preparing the documents when it comes to a case where both wife & husband wants to support the beneficiaries.

In my past experience I have sponsored my parents and I am knowledgeable in sponsoring for B1visa but just wanted to make sure if thr is any other way when both of us have to support.

Specially while filling I-134, do we both need to fill the documents?
Regarding Invitation letters & Recommendation letters to the consulate do we just need to mention both our names as invitors?

Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

2 ppl sponsoring does not strengthen application, unless funds from 1 is insufficient. Rest, you know the process already.

Actually my wife has been on H1b since April 2008 and she has actually startd working since October so because her history is not so great I wanted to add myself as a sponsor to strengthen the case.

I heard in visitors visa refering to in-laws it is always better to be sponsored by the son/daughter rather son-in-law or daughter-in-law.

      Or ...

Can I just sponsor them as how I sponsored my parents?
