Visa appointment after Tatkal passport

Hello,

I am an indian citizen ..........working in USA...i have applied for my wife passport under tatkal scheme. Can i start her visa process after geting her passport without post police enquiry.

Thanks for the response, i have one more confusion...my passport has UP state address (my home address). I have recently got married and after that my wife has applied for her passport under tatkal and she will b having her home state address (M.P.) in her passport instead of my U.P. address. Please suggest, does it really make any difference for in ragard to get visa. whether she can apply at delhi consulate instead of mumbai.

You need to go to the consulate where you have resided for past 6 months.
