Proof of funds, my father/or mine

I am a working professional with an annual income of 4 LPA. working with same organisation for last three years.

i will be applying for a visitor visa next month.i will be funding the trip on my own. I have only about 1.5 lakhs ruppees in my account that i can show as a proof of funding (i have planned and i know this will be enough) but in case VO is not satisfied.

My question is that i am the only son and will be attaching a CA report showing substantial property and FDs(basically my fathers). should i borrow some money from my father to show in my account, or should i just show my family networth and say that my father will be funding the trip.

What you have is obviously not enough, so you should add whatever you can to show stronger ties.

Do not borrow money. Just have your father write a financial support letter for you and take his bank statements. On the application form, write sponsor as self and father.
