Senator/Congressman letter

Can anyone tell me, what is the difference between letter sent from senator,or congressman,which is better if it is.
I have enquired looks it is easier to get congressman letter.Whereas there is lot formalities involved in senator letter.
any experiences/suggestions???

Well, I couldn't get the senetor to help with my case, but the congressman did. He even got the Consulate Supervisor to call me personally. It all depends on the case. I would contact both, two is better than one.

How to get letter from senator

Can please tell me how did get letter from congressmen? Did you call his office? Which letter make more valuble?

It's very easy to get congressman's letter. Just contact your local congressman's office and explain them your situation and ask them you need an introduction sent to so ans so.. consulate for your visitor. They will let you know what to do next and then they fax a letter of introduction to respective consulate and you can request for a hard copy as well
