B2 Visa regarding no Surname on Passport

I have only single name in my passport which is listed under

Given Name: ANKIT
Surname field is blank in my passport.

So as per answers provided in FAQ section and on other questions in this forum, I have used Surname as "ANKIT" and Given Name as "FNU" in my DS-160.

So Name provided in my DS-160 confirmation is printed as "ANKIT, FNU".

Now when I go to schedule an appointment on the cgifederal website, during registration I am asked both Last Name and First Name. When I give my Last Name as "ANKIT" and First Name as "FNU" as per FAQs, the name which I see before Payment Confirmation is printed as "FNU, ANKIT".

Now my question is when I have entered my name in Surname/Last name in both places, why is the format shown to me is different in both places.
On confirmation "ANKIT, FNU"
On Payment page "FNU, ANKIT"

Should I proceed with Last name "ANKIT" and First Name "FNU" and complete the payment?

Please clear my confusion so I can proceed with my application.
