  • Tourist Visa for Honeymoon but no Marriage Certificate Yet

    Hi,

I am an Indian and applying for a B1/B2 US Visa from India.

We are planning a trip for around 25-30 days.

    I have been issued a B1 & J1 US Visa in 2010 & 2013 respectively.

Currently, I am self employed and able to sponsor my trip myself.

However, my fiance has never traveled internationally before. Also, she is unable to pay for the entire trip herself. Thus, I will be sponsoring her expenses.

But, in the DS-160 form, there is no way to declare the relationship with your travel companion as a "Fiance"

Please guide on what steps I should take.

Better you get married first & then apply. This will increase her chances of getting the visa.
