  • Visitor visa for part of family

I am trying to apply visitor visa for my brother's family. My sister in law already has a B1/B2 visa which is valid for few more years. She got it through her employer. They have a 7 year and 2 year old kids. Can we just apply visitor visa just for my brother and his kids? Or do we need to apply for my sister in law as well?

Also do they need to take kids to the interview? I would really appreciate if you can provide your opinions on this.

    Thanks in advance.

Each applicant needs to file for a visa. Your sis in law doesn't have to apply for it if she's already got a visitor visa. I believe all applicants must appear for the interview regardless of age.

Good luck. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't have to. Immigration is interesting. Not considered as legal advice.

No, old age (>70 or 80) & kids below 14 does not need to attend the interview.
