  • B1B2 visa renewal after birth of a child in USA

    Dear All

I am based in Dubai and working for a Company for the last 13 years. We visited USA twice (1st time 10 days in 2016 and 2nd Time 64 days in 2018), during our second visit our baby girl born in USA we did the necessary paperwork for her and came back to UAE.

Our visitor B1/B2 visa will expire soon (end of July 2021). Due to covid and flights restrictions my family is unable to travel back to UAE as they are currently in Pakistan. We are planning to renew our visas and visit USA in December 2021. Please advise what to do? Should I apply my visa here in UAE and for my family in Pakistan? My 2 children are studying in Pakistan (class 1 and KG) the US born is not going to school.

Please advise me your support will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Yes. you can apply/renew visa in any US consulate/embassy. But before you take action, Please check concern embassy/consulate, whether they will consider third country national visas or not.
If embassy is accepted then you can go ahead and apply/renew visas.
    Thanks

      Dear Senior Member,

Thank you very much for the prompt reply appreciated. Should i send an email to the US embassy in UAE? and will wait for their reply. What are the chances of obtaining visas, someone told me that we have minor chances as we went for tourism but we had baby there. Your guidance is required.

      Thanks
