Dropbox visa renewal for parents approved but refused for brother

Hello all

my parents and my elder brother from India got first time b1/b2 VISA in 2013 and were due for a renewal this year.

they were eligible for Dropbox and while my parents got the visa (it shows issued for them), it shows refused for my brother.

Will I or him get to know the reason ?

my brother and parents have never overstayed or did any jobs here and haven’t violated any laws.

During last ten years my brother had a divorce though. And we took all the necessary documents to consulate like divorce certificate and all.

another reason I can think of is, one of the visits my brother got sick and was in hospital for 3-4 hours and they gave a bill of 8k. Someone suggested to use Medicaid for that which my brother did. that was in 2019 and my brother had travelled to USA after that as well

can any of these two be the reasons ? If yes how can I rectify that and get the visa process restarted for him?

my parents and brother were planning to come to USA for my medical procedure this month.

My mother's B1/B2 visa ( valid 10yrs ) expired in AUG 2020, previously she had a 10yrs B1/B2 visa .. Now, we want to renew her visa, my question -

Does she need supporting documents from the US to renew her visa in India? if yes, please let me know the required documents?
