US J1 Visa - Philippine Passport

Hi! I’ve been teaching in US for 2 years now in a J1 program. I know that we can travel to Canada and Mexico using the J1 visa. Just wanted to know if traveling to Latin American countries is also possible? Specifically Guatemala, El Salvador, & Costa Rica. Take note: we have a Philippine passport and valid J1 & J2 visa.

What do you mean by "travel to Canada and Mexico using the J1 visa"? You would need a Canadian visa to visit Canada.
