Indian student applying for German Student Visa

Hello!

I'm applying for German Student Visa. My appointment is schedule in July in Mumbai VFS center.

My permanent residence is in the state of Rajasthan, India. I'm correctly staying in Maharashtra for work. Based on Jurisdiction, Rajasthan comes under Delhi consulate, but Maharashtra comes under Mumbai Consulate.

Is it okay that my appointment is in Mumbai VFS Center? Or do I have to reschedule the appointment and go to Mumbai VFS center?

In my opinion, location of appointment at VFS should not matter, as long as address all the document to the correct consulate, i.e., Delhi Consulate.

Please let me know what to do.
