Tourist Visa while F4 Application Pending

My uncle filed a F4 Petition in 2004 under my moms name and about a year ago we got a letter that our case has made it to NVC and we need to wait for a visa number. We have traveled many times to US , me 10 times last time was year (im 18 btw) and my mom has been there 11 times. Our last visa (we have had others in the past) was a 5 year visa which was granted in 2006 and it expired this April, now me and my mom want to apply again for a tourist B1/2 visa to visit my grandpa because he is really sick. My question is , is there any problem applying for a tourist visa while our case is pending in NVC , if not, considering our good history of traveling to US (once all the family , me , mom , sister and dad) and coming back do we have a good chance of being Granted a visa again ? thanks so much for your help.

If you have immigration petition pending, you are very unlikely to get new visitors visa.

But we got one before in 2006 for 5 years ?!? our petition was filed in 2004!

I didn't say it is impossible. I said it is unlikely.

Well thats why im asking , since we got granted a visa then do we have a good chance now .... We have had a lot of previous visas like 5 or 6 total ?!

Regarding B1/B2 Visa Vs. F2A petition

I am an immigrant and just got married 2010. I filed a petition for my husband and was approved and we are only waiting for the Visa number availability.. My husband has a B1 B2 Visa with 10 years multiple entry and he used the Visa for 3x already. from 2009, 2010, 2011. Now that the Petition has been approved. He wants to have a vacation here next year. My question is . Does petition affect the B1 B2 visa? Is there any problem in the port of entry if they found out that he has a filed petition. My husband doesnt have the intention to stay here with me wh*** he's on vacation and until the Visa number becomes available for his petition. Please advise me if its okey for him to travel again. Thanks
