Hi,My parents are flying to US on B2 visa. May I know what all questions the immigration officer can ask them? They are coming for first time. Also they do not know english. How to tackle immigration officer questions in that case? Is there any way I can go inside the airport to pick them up and asnwer the officers questions. Please share your experiences.

You cannot go inside.
It is not much of a problem.
People from all over the world who do not know English travel to the US
without any problems.
They mainly ask two questions at entry;
purpose of visit and duration .
Send a short written note with them ;
To The Entry officer,
' The travellers ,names xxxx, do not know any English.
This is their first ever trip to US.
They are visiting their son/daughter in US
for 3 months.
Thank you.
Your parents should carry an invitation letter from you
on your letter head showing your address and phone
no. They should hand over the note and the letter with the passport
as soon as their turn comes.
Also train them how to call you from the airport, just in
case they have some problems.
It will be easy, not a big problem.Last edited by peace999; 06-15-2012, 09:13 PM.
