Extension for visitors visa

Hi All,

My mother got her I 94 stamped for 3 months only. and my due date is on the 3rd month.can anyone tell me whether we can extend another 6 months?. she has multiple entry visa for 10 years.

What was the reason for the officer to give the I94 for only 3 months? It is always risky to apply for extension since if rejected even the 10year visa might be cancelled. If extension is approved it would be great but what if it dosen't?.........

Well, i am not asking you to loose hope but it is always better to avoid taking risks with INS. If you are sure that there was not any specific reason for the I-94 to be given only for 3 months you can apply for extension saying that since it was only for 3 monhs could not visit all the places. But it depends on your specific case. So weigh the pros and cons and take a decision. Good luck to you.
