I am a retired person. Age 65 yrs. Myself and my wife came to US on Visitor's visa to visit our son in Burlington, MA, USA.
We were issued 10 years multiple entry visa in Mumbai, with a present stay as per I-94 for six months (19th Jun'2007)
However, in the last week of the Jun'07 or 1st week of Jul'07 I am (alone) likely to be invited for some Conference in Iowa,USA. with my own expenses.
As per the following paragraph given on your website (Immigration Help) for extension of visa, which reads:
"You can not go to neighboring countries(Canada, Mexico) either by air or road, and come back to get new I-94 and therefore avoid lengthy process of applying for extension. New I-94 will NOT be given. You can't even go to neighboring islands such as Bahamas etc and come back to get new I-94.You will have to actually travel outside of North America and come back."
Well, does it means that I can go to UK (London) and come back to USA? or I will have to go back to India?. If yes after how many days, in either case?
Thanks & Regards
