Extension of visitor's visa
My mom visited me about 4 years ago on a visitor's visa. I applied for an extension. She left before the approval letter arrived in the mail(well before the extension expired) . I received the approval letter, but lost it. She plans on visiting me again next year. I applied for a duplicate copy of the approval letter but it may take a year. Can she still visit me without a copy of the approval letter? I have the receipt number with me for the approval letter. Does she have to have the letter with her?
