Help for Paying Medical Bills

I bought Medical Insurance from SRI International USA for my parents. I had to take my dad to ER and the medical Bills are $8000/- Insurance is saying only Coverage is $300 for Emergency. I assumed that policy covered at least some amount in other lab and Diagnostic expenses. Am I being cheated by Insurance. The plan was INBOUND Immigrant insurance
Can somebody help? Are there any agencies who provide financial Support?

There is NO cheating going on. Insurance company paid what they promised to pay in the policy.

When you go into emergency, no matter what they do until you come out (unless admitted into the hospital), total payment is $300. Please read more explanation in FAQ https://www.insubuy.com/guide/

I would like to again remind everyone that there are 2 types of coverage, fixed and comprehensive. Look at http://www.immihelp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11223

I recommend everyone to buy comprehensive coverage.
