To Mr. Narender: Deciding the insurance amount

To Mr Narender; I am 45 and I am visiting US with my 68 yr old mother
for 2-3 months , maybe more.
I have decided on Protection america as advised by you on the forum. Can you also advise me on deciding about the insurance amount ($50k,
$100k or $500k). Thanks

Stastically, most people buy $50k from us because that is the cheapest available option in comprehensive category.

I would definitely recommend at least $100k as I have seen many times the expenses go beyond $50k.

Personally, I myself buy $500k when my relatives visit USA.

I just had a case of the customer whose mother had $50k of Protection America coverage. She got heart attack and then related complications such lung problems, pneumonia etc. The bill is around $120k. Even after the First Health PPO network repricing, the bill is well over $50k. And IMG is paying all the bills this week up to $50k (less the deductible and co-insurance, of course.) I am told by this customer that he would post his detailed experience some time next week once the bills are paid.
