Dear narendra ...
My parents are visiting uSA for first time in september ,i am looking for a insurance covergae plan that will cover their insurance right from start of flight from india till they are back2 india ...can you please let me know the best plan ???
My father is 71 and he is having diabetes from last 20 yrs !! mom is 61 and she is healthy ...
Let me know the best insurance company /plan with less monthly payment.

Insurance companies will pay for any new medical conditions, sickneseses, injuries or accidents that may occur after the effective date of the policy. It will not cover any pre-existing medical conditions.

Whether the person is healthy or not, it does not matter, as the probability of someone getting into any new medical condition is same for any given age. However, once you have new medical conditions, how much you are covered is what is different in various policies.

And both of the above mentioned plans will cover anywhere outside home country. In order to cover anywhere outside home country, just have the effective date of the insurance one day in advance of the departure date. Insurance is effective according to US eastern time the day you specify.
