If you get sick, first you pay one time deductible and after that insurance company pay 80% - 20% for first $5,000 expense. And after that, it pays 100% up to policy maximum.

You can choose deductibles of $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500 etc. and policy maximums of $50,000, $100,000, $500,000, $1,000,000 etc.

For $250 deductible and $50,000 coverage, price for person in 40's would be $96/month, while for $100,000 it would be $108 for same person. If you choose $100 deductible, price is 10% less or if you choose $500 deductible, price is 10% more.
