Renewal and refund questions

Hi, My parents are planning a visit to the US in mid-May, 2005. The duration of their trip is not certain as well as the length of stay granted at POE is also not guaranteed. I am considering getting Protection America plan for them and had a couple of questions.

1. Given this situation, can I buy for 1 month at first and then renew as appropriate?
2. If I do this will anything have to be done differently when I renew?
3. Is the money refundable in this plan. Your prompt reply is appreciated.

Answers:
1. Yes. Every time you renew, insurance company will charge you $5 renewal fee.
2. 2 weeks before it expires, you will receive renewal notice in the email. Click on the link in the email, pay again and renew it online. Or visit https://www.insubuy.com/patriot-amer...rance/renewal/ to renew online. Or you can call us at 1-866-INSU-BUY and we can renew it for you over the phone.
3. As long as there are no claims, insurance company will refund fully unused months minus $25 cancellation fee.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Just one other thing. Will deductible or coverage change any if I renew after 1 month? I read somewhere (it might have been another plan) that coverage, deductible could change if we renew.

No, nothing will change. No matter how many times you renew the insurance, deductible and coinsurance are only once a 1 year.
