Visitor Care - Coverage during travel

My parents are arriving in June. I am thinking of getting Visitor's care from this website. Does this plan cover their travel from India too. Also if we travel to Canada, is the insurance valid there?

Yes, it does.

Yes, Visitors Care covers during the travel time as well. Visitors Care provides coverage anywhere outside home country. And coverage starts at 12.01 Indianapolis time (Central time in Summer) on the day you specify. As most flights leave early morning from India, which is still a previous day here in US, in order to cover during the travel also, I reccommend that you mention the effective date one day in advance.

And it provides coverage in Canada too.
