High Blood pressure 5 years ago - Pre-existing condition

My mother will be visiting soon. I like to get her a medical insurance. She had one occurance of high blood pressure 5 years ago, but have not have re-occurence since without taking medication. Is this consider pre-existing condition ?

Even though it would be finally decided by insurance company's claims department based on the medical history and medical records, attending physician report etc, it would most likely be considered pre-existing condition. That is because diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes are chronic diseases.
