Insurance from India

My parents are coming from India to the US for three months starting this July. They are considering two insurance options from India. One is from ICICI and the other from United India Assurance. Please let me know which one is better.
Also, is there any advantage of getting insurance in the US itself instead of from India? If so, are the costs much higher here? Please let me know...

After reading and hearing so many negative experiences and horror stories for insurance bought from India, I am not sure why are people still considering to buy insurance from India?

Why don't you just from US?

Or does each person have to go through their own experience before believing others? Good luck, then.
