  • Visitor Insurance Advice Needed

My in-laws are arriving the day after tomorrow to New Jersey from India. I would like to get your kind advice on which option I should choose within Protection America. Does 0 deductible means I do not have to make any payments from my side for any doctor's visit/drug prescription? Also what does 90/10 vs. 80/20 mean? What is usually the optimal choice $50k or more? I do not want to pay more and at the same tiem do not want to be undercovered.

I would greatly apprecitae any help from you.

    Thanks & Regards,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing health insurance for your in-laws.
If you choose $0 deductible and 80/20 coinsurance, if you get sick, you have to pay 20% for first $5,000 expense and insurance company pays 80%. After $5,000, insurance company pays 100% up to the policy maximum.
If you choose 90/10, insurance company pays 90% for first $5,000, you pay 10%. After $5,000, it pays 100% up to the policy maximum.
Even though many people choose $50,000, I personally suggest $100,000 as many times, expenses go beyond $50,000.
