  • US consulate in VietNam asking for visitors insurance

Hello, there. I have some questions: I was interviewed at US Consulate in Vietnam. I want go to US for an eye operation. They required a health insurance, I translate from Vietmese to English as follows: "Health Insurance for the applicant in the period of living in USA" => not relating to the operation. I will live in USA about 4 months. Please give information about the type of health insurance which I need, its cost, how to buy, where is cheapest. I don't buy but my uncle, who is in USA, may buy for me when I direct him how to do. Please forgive me about my English errors, I'm 17 years and still learn it. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing travel medical insurance.

Insurance company will pay for any new medical conditions, sicknesses, injuries or accidents that occur after the effective date of the policy. It will NOT cover any pre-existing conditions. Therefore, it will NOT cover anything related to your eye surgery.

You can look at Protection America plan at https://www.insubuy.com/patriot-amer...e/brochure.jsp

If you take $50,000 coverage and $250 deductible, it will cost you $45/month. If you choose higher deductible such as $1000, it will cost you $36/month.

You can make instant purchase online.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
    Thanks & Regards
