  • Protection America vs. Passport Protection Plus

    Hi,
When I started filling out the application form for the Protection America for my dad who is 72 years old, I noticed the following

"If you or other family members applying for coverage are age 65 or older, please see the Eligibility section on page 16 of the Passport Protection Plus brochure for additional information."

When I am applying for Protection America why do I have to look at Passport Protection Plus brochure ? Please let me know. I want to finish the application by tomorrow. Thanks.

    Hi,
Passport Protection Plus and Protection America are one and same insurance plan.
Protection America: Non-US citizens traveling outside their home country Protection International: US citizens traveling outside the US
Protection America and Protection International are referred to as Passport Protection Plus collectively.
The rule is that for persons 65 and over, you need to buy the insurance before coming to the US, or within 30 days of arrival in the US or have prior insurance.
You can make instant purchase online at https://www.insubuy.com
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
    Thanks & Regards
