  • Urgent care visit in Liaison International

I would like to know about Liason International for my grandsons 6 and 16 who are visiting from Europe. If I take them out of plan to an Urgent Care, do I pay 20% of the bill? They are healthy but I am just worried about colds, cuts, etc. If they have to be hospitalized in plan, do I pay 10%? Do I have to get permission from the insurance to take them for medical care?

    Liaison International:
If you need to use the insurance, you have to first pay the deductible. After that, insurance company pays 80% for first $5,000 in medical expenses, you have pay 20%. After $5,000, it pays 100% up to the policy maximum.

If you go out of the network, insurance company will pay 20% less than they would pay in the network.

You don't have to first take the permission to get medical care, but you should inform the insurance company as soon as possible if you use the insurance in an emergency. You can read more about pre-notification or pre-certification requirements in the brochure at https://www.insubuy.com/patriot-amer...tor-insurance/

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
