Hi,
I like to take my mother to Dermatologist.
If i take insurance, Does Following covered by insurence ?

(1) Consultation Fee
(2) Medicines prescribed by Doctor

It depends upon whether you the medical condition you are taking your mother regarding is pre-existing condition or not.

If it pre-existing condition, insurance company will not pay anything.

Otherwise they will pay for consultation and for medicines also. However, how much you will get paid depends upon whether you have purchased fixed(limited) coverage or comprehensive coverage.
