Insurance for visiting mother

Hi,
My mother has high BP and will be getting medicines for her entire stay when she comes in december. However we need to get her BP monitered regularly. Do I have to take insurance for that or is there any other workable solution?

There is no insurance plan that will cover pre-existing conditions.

However, generally you do not need to go to doctor neither medical insurance is required for measuring blood pressure.

You can go to local pharmacy like CVS and purchase blood pressure monitoring device that you can get for around $50.
