Sir/Madam, my mother is planning to visit me in September 2008 and I was planning to buy a comprehensive plan for her. She is 69 years of age and would be turning 70 in Jan next year. My questions are as follows: 1. Since the premiums are significantly higher for a person over 70, could I buy insurance at the lower rate if I buy it for one year? 2. If I buy insurance for one year and later have to cancel after, say 8 months, is there a cancellation fee involved, and would I get a refund?
