i am a US citizen inquiring about health insurance for a friend who will be living here under a tourist visa from the czech republic who has a pre-existing condition, deep vein trombosis. is it possible to get obtain health insurance for this person? she will here from feb to aug.

Are there any type of insurance carriers out there that would be able to fully cover an individual with a pre-existing condition for a specified term? For instance, if the term was 3 month, 6, or 12, and if it meant a little bit of higher fees, are there any insurance carriers that would fully insure? Your help is appreciated. Thanks.
