  • Insurance coverage for pregnancy

    Hi,

Me and my spouse will be travelling on L1/L2 shortly to the USA. My wife is now 14 weeks pregnant. Will any insurance plan cover her pregnancy? If no, how much am I likely to incur for the doc visits and delivery. (Will be travelling to NJ/NY). Thanks.

If she is already pregnant, there is no insurance plan from any company that is going to cover normal expenses of pregnancy.

Most companies will not even give any insurance that will cover anything. Simply decline.

However, if you would like to cover any other medical conditions that may occur after the insurance is effective including complications of pregnancy, please look at Atlas America Insurance.

You can make instant purchase right on the website. You require date of birth and passport number.

If you have any further questions, either post them here or call us at 1-866-INSU-BUY at any time.
