  • Insurance for my Mother

I noticed that ATLAS is the only one which covers pre-existing?
My Mom is already here and hence I would not be able to apply for ATLAS?

I was looking for $100K comprehensive plan that covers pre-existing. Mom is 65-69. She does not have any health problems..however mild diabetes and BP but that is controlled through Homeopathic medicines.
Are there any good plans availalbe? Will be nice to hear experiences.

In that case, she is certainly eligible to purchase Atlas insurance, ever after being in the Michigan, USA.

Atlas America covers up to $15,000 in acute onset of pre-existing conditions. New and eligible medical conditions are covered up to the policy maximum you choose, such as $100,000.

You can purchase it online at Atlas America Insurance.

If you have any other questions, it would be just easier if you called our office toll-free at (866) INSU-BUY.

Would there be a difference if I go for 3 months and than extend 3 months vs buying 6 months.
Which one's are good if I want to go for fixed plan. Need would same (100K max) and more routine/preventive outpatient including lab work...and protection against some incidence (which would be inpatient).

                1.
In Atlas America, the diffference is $5 renewal fee.

                2.
In fixed category, you can consider Inbound USA Insurance.

Please note that routine/preventive check ups are not covered in any short term plan.

What about the fixed plan (if I go for 3 month vs 6 month option).
How does the dedutible work in renewals..do they get reset each time I renew or they remain for the duration of the policy.

So if lets say the person feels a little lethargic and wants to go and see a Doctor who prescribes a blood test to see if the glucose level is high or low. Would that be considered preventive or routine of something which would be covered under insurance? So even the Comprehensive plan would not cover it?
