Position requires experience with the following 1 experience with automotive structure and systems, including fundamentals and the designdevelopment process, to propose optimal tube design, gauge, and steel grade to optimize performance; 2 experience with CAE, including crash analysis with LS Dyna, Stiffness analysis with Nastran, Optistruct, and Morphing; 3 experience with the preparation andor analysis of customers component CAE model into LSDYNA software; 4 experience with checking performance against regulatory requirements, including FMVSS and IIHS, for safety protection during possible crashes, and based on the output, propose right tube design to customer so it can be verified by the customers engineering teams; 5 experience with analyzing full vehicle and component model analysis for NVH Noise Vibrations and fatigue performance; 6 experience with creating new CAE models or morphing existing model to run vibration and fatigue analysis in Nastran or Optistruct; 7 experience with CAD skills, including Wireframe, 2D, and 3D models; 8 experience with using customer 3D models and convert into 2D tube print in AutoCAD for study by internal feasibility group prior to quoting; 9 experience with converting or extracting tube design from full assembly print using CATIA Wire frame for us by internal feasibility group prior to quoting; and 10 experience with steel product design and manufacturing concepts, including yield, tensile, and elongation properties, of commonly used steel grades in automotive systems and structure.br br Must be able and willing to travel domestically to employer and various unanticipated client locations up to 50 of the time.br br NOTE Because there is no primary experience requirement in H.6., the Kellogg language is not required.
