Requires a PhD or foreign equivalent in Economics, Political Economy, Econometrics or a related field and 9 years of experience in the job offered or in economic research. All stated experience must include the following utilizing macroeconomic and microeconomic theories as well as historical data to conduct analyses of current and projected economic conditions; performing econometric and other statistical analyses on large data sets to quantitatively evaluate research hypotheses; macroeconomic and financial modeling including forecast and benchmark modeling; communicating complex technical research and economic analyses through written reports, clientfacing publications and media engagements; presenting to large audiences, senior executives and clients; corporate strategy, finance and operations; and, visualization and structuring of complex data sets. Must also have experience leading an economic research team; working with global macro statistics in sourcing and analyzing raw macro data with Haver Analytics, Datastream or Bloomberg; and, utilizing statistical tools including R, Stata, SQL and VBA. Experience may be gained concurrently. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25 of working time.
