Specific Skills
1.An earned doctorate Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other closelyrelated engineering discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent is required; 2. Evidence of publications in scholarly journals; 3. Evidence of obtaining external research funding, either in industry or academia; 4. University teaching experience, and; 5. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students in a multiculturalmultiethnic urban campus environment with a substantial population of firstgeneration students. Preferred Qualifications 1. Previous or current academic rank of Associate Professor or higher; 2.
