Suggestion for Funds for F1 VISA Interview
I have a question regarding showing funds.

I have shown savings of parents and grandparents which is more than I20 amount. My parents (working) and grandparents(retired) are Government employees in India.

Now for my F1 visa interview for having fund of 1.5 times I20 amount I would like to use both loan and 75% of my family savings. Apart from these there are some properties like house whose evaluation worth I will keep as reference.

Is it okay or anything I need to change my financial plan ?

F2 visa rejection
My wife appeared for F2 visa interview on May 6th in Chennai

VO: Can I have both of your I20?
Wife hands over both the I20 forms.
VO: What is he studying there?
Wife: MBA
VO: Which university?
Wife: Arizona State University
VO: So how will you manage your expenses? Is your husband working there?
Wife: I have my savings, as well as my husband, has some saving and hands over both her and my bank statements. My husband also has a GA there.
VO: What is GA?
Wife: Graduate Assistantship
VO: Sorry, your visa has been rejected. And hands over the form stating denial under section 214(b).

Can anybody tell me or guide me what would have been the possible reason for denial?

F1 Visa for F2 visa holder
Hi,

I got married in 2017 and moved to the US in F2 visa while my husband was on F1 Visa. My husband got job in an University (public) as assistant professor in Aug 2018. He's now on his F1- OPT. I've got admit for MSCS in his University itself for Fall 2019. I'm currently in India to get F1 Visa. Please clear the following queries.

1. What are my chances of getting my F1 Visa approved provided my husband works as a assistant professor? Will that mean that we are intended to stay and a possible reason for my F1 Visa to be rejected?
2. Has anyone faced a similar experience? If yes, please reply to this post.

Original Marriage Certificate not available
My wife has F-2 Visa Interview in Chennai on 6th May 2019. I'm doing my MBA from Arizona State University on F-1 Visa. I had sent her all the required document for her interview along with both of our I-20 and original marriage certificate through UPS. The documents are still in transit even after 1 month, so I sent her another set of I-20 issued by my university through one of my friend going to India. The problem is she doesn't have our original marriage certificate, she the only copy we had is still in transit. I have sent her the scanned copy and ask her to take a color print out. But if the VO doesn't accept that, how can we justify our case or what can we do in this situation? Somebody please advice me what can we do to convince the VO of our case?

Administrative Processing after f2 visa approval by VO
Hello,

My wife had a visa interview on 22 April 2019. VO said an application is approved and you will receive a passport in 2 days. She gave her letter which says your passport will deliver to address you choose. It is not 221G.
But now https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx shows status as “Administrative Processing”. I don’t know what should I do. Does anyone have the same situation before for F2?
