Sending Money to India

I was only bothered for exchange rates, and I think RemitLite had been understanding its customer preferences well by providing best exchange rates and good money transfer service.

these guys are fake. remitlite.com is fake
1. Who takes 12 days to transfer money to India
2. Exchange rate are not locked in at the time of transfer
3. You cannot call them because they don't have a phone number.
4. They will have the max exchange rate listed on their site. But you will never get that because that is just for showing the customer that they offer the best rates.
5. you will get the lowest rate in the 12 days time frame that they will have.
6. If you transferred the money at 60 and rate went down to 59 you will get somewhere near 58.80
7. Plus they will charge service fee of $3.00 for transferring money.
8. Plus they will charge you around Rs: 180 as tax (Saying that government og India charges that which is not true)
9. They will at least make Rs5000 for every $3000 that you will send.
10. Ultimately when you will receive your money after a long wait you will be so frustrated that you would like to call them to flight with them but you cannot do that because there is no phone number to call. You will end up writing a bad email to them which will come back to you as a automatic reply from there software

Don't make a mistake sending the money. I am sharing my true expirence.

I recently transferred money to my parents from U.S. being settled here for work purpose, I must say RemitLite provides the best of service, always prefer this service when it comes to money transfer.

I have seen many negative review for ICICI money to India service. But to my surprise It worked very well for me. I have no complains against there services. I have used there service for more than 10 times so far.

As with "Fixed rate" facility , they deliver the same amount what they agree.

Also it is clearly mentioned with "e-transfer" service that it takes 5-6 days for transfer to happen.

So guys, do not complain about not giving the rate as they say, and time they take to transfer.

Remitlite review - I have done one transaction, the only value I seek is rates. That matter most to me. They give High rates, I go for it. To me from a service standpoint, all look the same.

Please do NOT use remite lite remittance services at all
They took 2 weeks of time to deposit money
That too after 3-4 followups.
They charge $3 fees per transaction
They gave low rate while actually transfer money
Thier rate is just indication,however they will give low rate while transfer
Please do not use REMITELITE services at all the worst services
Dont have direct contact number to call customer care.You have to write an email for the issues you faced and their team is in india ,so you will get call when they wil see you email ,but you will not get call in US timings at the earliest

it would take more than 3 weeks for remitlite for remittance from US, worst ever service, no toll free no. from US. you dont know where your money is, 2.99 is transaction fee which is less when compared to others. The website sucks, you cannot enter the address properly. most of the reviews remit lite is fake in this website , i saw the previous review and booked the transaction(and it took more than 3 weeks).

Excellent service and prompt delivery. Its quite useful when you require to send money urgently. I Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I have used transfast for 3 times. I am an optimist and i thought they will improve.
But they ended up holding my money for 3 weeks after each transactions for different reasons. IT IS A SCAM...AVOID..
their customer service is horrible. Better use Xoom or ICICI, they are light years better than this transslow

Xoom is Good option with little less Rate.
