USCIS Updates Filing Location for Form I-730 Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition

US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that they have updated their filing location information for the Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition. As of January 1, 2023, all I-730s must be filed at the following address:

USCIS Texas Service Center

Attn: I-730

6046 N. Belt Line Rd. Ste. 730

Irving, TX 75038-0019

Prior to this change, petitioners were required to file their I-730s at either the Nebraska Service Center or the Texas Service Center, depending upon the petitioner’s residence location. In order to streamline processing times, USCIS has decided to consolidate all I-730 filings into the Texas Service Center.

If you have already sent your I-730 to the Nebraska Service Center as previously instructed prior to receiving this information, there is no need to worry. USCIS is providing a 30-day grace period in which they will continue to accept I-730s at the Nebraska Service Center and forward them to the Texas Service Center for processing. However, starting January 31, 2023, any I-730 sent to the Nebraska Service Center will be rejected.

All other administrative processes for the Form I-730 will remain the same; only the filing location has changed.

For additional information, interested parties can contact USCIS directly.
