H1B Visa Stamping successful in Ottawa but i have a question
Hi Friends ,
All many others i too looked into this forum for experiences . All went well , successfull visa stamping in Ottawa. My Interview date was Dec22, 2016 and passport was delivered to personal address on Dec 27,2016.
I travelled by car from USA to Canada and returned the same way. While Coming back they did not entry stamp on my passport. At the border the immigration officer checked my passport and asked my status and said all set and i can go. After coming to home i realized that i did not have any USA entry stamp in my passport. I have the Canada entry stamp when i entered Canada on Dec 21, 2016 but I checked online to see my updated i-94 and everything is updated my exit and arrival .

Anyone with same experience? Is this new process?
Please update

Dec 19 Vancouver
I had selected the Toronto consulate in the DS-160 application. I confirmed with the Vancouver consulate immediately after booking the Vancouver appointment, that I could appear for the interview without submitting a new DS-160.

I appeared for the visa interview on Dec 19 7:45 AM, I was let in about an hour later. I was asked to show proof of the Canadian visa, my I-797 approval notice prior to the interview. The interviewer did not ask me for any additional documents. He asked me what I do, whether I maintain a residence anywhere else and how long I've lived in <x>. He said my visa was approved and I'd get my passport in a few business days.

My passport was ready for pick up at 11 am on Dec 22nd.

First time H1 stamping in Canada(non technical background)
Hi All,

I did MBA in the U.S and I started working as a Software Developer consultant since 2013. I got my H1b approved in 2013 and now for over 2 years I'm working full-time for a U.S based Healthcare Company. I'm planning to get my visa stamped for the first time . Will I have any issues regarding my non technical background during the visa interview? Is it safe to go to Canada for my visa stamping?

I'm thinking of going for stamping in January 2017 if everything goes well.

Please advise. Thanks a lot.
