Starting October 1, CDC Requires COVID-19 Vaccination for Most Green Card Applicants

Anyone know if this information is correct? Not able to find this news on USCIS website.

Hi guys, I’m back again. So next month I’m gonna file my removal of condition for my 2 years green card via marrying a US Citizen. So I have a question, when is the earliest date I can file for A US Citizen? They said if you guys still together with your wife you can file as early as 3 years as Soon as you got your GC. Do I count on the year that I got my conditional GC or on the year that I will get my 10 year green card? I Got my conditional green card Jan 2020 so that means I can apply My US citizen by year 2023? Thank you guys

Hi, would like your guys help. My priority date is August 2018. An interview was scheduled for May 2019, but was canceled. And has yet to be rescheduled.

Since then, I've been told by USCIS over and over that my background check has not been cleared. Should I file a mandamus? I'm married to a US citizen.

I appreciate any advice given.

I just noticed the processing time at Texas Service Center has increased significantly from 1.5 to 7 months TO 25/32 months. Does anyone know why? What has happened?

Entire journey took about 2 years and 2 months.

Hello fam,

I completed my interview today.
Strangest part was that they didn't even want to interview me and my spouse together, the officer just asked her to wait outside citing that my i-130 petition was already approved so he doesn’t need to talk to her.

Interview experience - took the oath, went over i485 with any new updates, yes/no 485 questions. Asked me if I had any additional evidence - i gave him a binder and asked him to keep the entire binder since I had created it just for the officer. He was really happy with the way everything was organized and said thanks for making my job easy.

In the end, he asked my signature on 485 and said he will recommend for approval as he cannot give me an approval himself. Also mentioned that he will go through the file once again for review and if he found something missing, he will send a mail.

Thats about it! I have not received any updates so far, my case status still says - interview was scheduled.

Hi Fam,

I really need clear advise on something. So, I am asylum applicant waiting for interview and I got married to USC and filed I-485 and I-130. I did not file I-765 because I already have EAD from asylum status. I consult with a lawyer last year and he told me not to travel outside of the country before I get my GC and not to withdraw my asylum application until I get my GC.
So my question here is, can't I travel outside of the country with advance parole (from my marriage application) since it serves to return to US?

Can somebody give us an update on why EAD renewal is taking forever while i485 is pending? I have been waiting for my EAD to be renewed since October 2020.
