H1B, H4 Visa

Hi guys
In my case H1B interview was just like a short discussion with customercare guy.
It went on Like this

Me:Gudmorning mam,How are you doing today.
Vo:am fine,How are you doing.
Me:fine thank you.
Vo:for what you are going to Us
Me:am going to work as aaa for bbb company
Vo:ok what you will do exactly there.
Me:I'll be involving in the coding
Vo:what type of coding it is.
Me:Its aaa coding.
Vo:whats your background.
Me:I did my aaa from bbb university
Vo:what is your project.
Me:I said my project name.
Vo:Then came golden words from Vo,you will get passport within 3days then she passed my I-797.

believe me friends she did't asked me for a single document,and even i did'nt opened my file also.
This Interview went for max 45sec.
Really its all Saibaba's and Venkateshwara swamy's blessings,nothing else.
so I suggest all of you to visit chilkur and shirdi if possible,pray God.

I have started paying my Income Tax from the year April 2007 to till date. Before that my income was not taxable and i didn'tt paid any Tax.
 
I would like to know is it mandatory to show 3 years of Income Tax for filing H1B?

Congrats for people who had got already H1 and H4 visa.

In october my husband had attend the interview in chennai and he got visa stamped after getting the very famous 221(g). The whole process has taken around two months. Due to some personal problems in my family i couldn't take the appointment for H4 visa along with my husband.

Now i want to take another new appointment for getting H4 visa. Still my husband is in india and he is planning to go US in March.

So please clarify can we take the appointment for H4 or i have to wait for till my husband leaves to Us and send the related documents.

Hi,

I appeared for H1B Interview at Chennai on 30th August'07 and they gave me 221(g) saying it is under AAP(Additional Administrative Processing). And on 1st jan'08 I received one courier having one letter saying that they refused my Visa processing stating that my US petitioner is unable to provide me employment as per Law in US. Now they had sent all docs to USCIS and returned my passport with out stamping any a seal like "Rejected" or something.

So please guys i want your help what should I do, As I have asked my consultant about this so they told me that they will fight with USCIS and resolve the case. So, Is this possible, Please help me.

20 days back i got 221g asked to submit (us)employer details like tax returns ect...and same time they took my original degree certificates for verification today i got my originals back and in that cover one more 221g blue form saying that submit your original passport, so what is that means??????

My Interview was on nov 28 at 11:30 AM .I went to Chennai with my dad a day before and took a room and verified all my docs and went for the interview at 11:00 AM .I was checked for any mobile and let inside ,the security checked my docs and then officer listed all the valid docs in a stub and redirected to the main room for finger printing.I did finger printing for both the hands and then i was instructed to sit in a hall .The person announced for appointment time of 11:30 am to join the queue.It was around 12:30 pm by this.The queue was same for H1-B and dependent visas .there were four VO'S doing the interviews and average time was 15 mins.At counter no 2 the VO was very strict and was either rejecting or giving blue slips for even company sponsored candidates i was scared before the interview ,unfortunately i was interviewed by the same Vice counsellar.My interview started at 12:40 pm and ended at 1:15 pm.

22.takes 10 mins to recheck all the docs and update on the system and finally tells me that he needs still seven more supporting docs in order to consider for my visa and ticks a list of docs to be submitted .The docs have to be submitted in the VFS center in Bangalore.Gives me Blue 221(g).
I get all the docs asked by the VO AND SUBMIT IN bANGALORE vfs on 27 december .
Today i get approval notice by Bluedart at 11:55 AM .
I checked my passport status yesterday only in VFS-tRACK MY PASSPORT TAB .iT STATED THAT MY PASSPORT had been despatched .

Hi Friends,

I went for visa interview on 30th,Nov,2007. The officer asked me only one thing..which project are you going to work client or inhouse?? I answered inhouse..then he took about 10 min to verify all the docs..including the financial docs of the employer and i am sure that there are no clues for him in them..bcz another two guys from the same employer got the visa a month ago. but inaddition to this, he didnt return the I-797 Petition form refusing my VISA under sec 221(g). He didnt ask me to submit some additional docs also. Its weird case, I never heard of it also. I alreay sent them an email requesting my petition form. please help me if any one of you have any clue to get my petition form back from them. They said that only mode of communication is e-mail and we know how the response would be.

         I'm a regular visitor of this website and also the one waiting for response from consulate reg my 221(G) docs submission. Is there any time frame for responding?. From their previous responses for the 221(G) case it is understood that they are responding once in 15 days(as a batch) and their last response to the 221(g) holders is on 19 Dec and if it is right they they will do response for some of the 221 (G) cases tommorrow or day after tommorrow.

My Interivew was scheduled on 28th December, 2007 at 8.30 AM in Chennai,

I went to consulate at 7.20AM. First security checkup is done at 7.22AM.
I got a call at 8.30 AM for getting the finger prints it took 10 min.
After done that I went to Second building. there it was a big line I waited for 15 min.

My time came at 9.10AM. I went to One of the counter.

VO is Guy.

me: Good Morning Sir
VO : Very Good Morning Sir

me: How are you
VO : Fine and how r u

me: Thank you and I am fine.

I gave the folder to VO

VO: What is your higher education
me: Master of Science in Mathematics

VO: How many years of Experience do you have
me: YYYY years yyyy months

VO: Currently in which company you are working?
me: YYYY company

VO: How long you are working?
me: YYY years

VO: previously in which company?
me: zzz company worked for xxx years.

Guys really you have to be full confident.
that day I observed most of the guys got 221(g) and rejected.
If you are Genuine you no need to worry.

Many of us want to know after we get a 221g that is it possible to change your employer(transfer h1b) from india and the answer to that is 'Yes' .

Hello All, Like most of the sofware engineers out there even i had a dream of working for a company in USA .So after having a work experience of around a year a i started to search for companies willing to hire me and therefor file a petition on my behalf.I gave a telephonic interview for a whole bunch of body shopping companies and so called consultancy companies and cleared all of them. Most of these body shopping companies ask for a caution deposit of some amount i am sure all of you would be aware of that so the challenge was to find out a company who would not ask for any such deposit that would mean the company is good enough that ,was my way of looking at a company .Ofcourse i did go and google about the company. Finally i decided to go with a company by the name of AIM COMPUTER CONSULTING located in Livonia Michigan. http://www.aim-cc.com/ . These people they didnt ask for any deposit and filed my papers .I was lucky enough to get through the lottery and finally got an approval around may 2007. I got all the paperwork from AIM-CC around august and finally booked a visa interview appointment on 5th oct. This company did not send their tax returns and had prepared a completely bogus inhouse project .When i requested them to send the tax returns and unemployment wage report they replied saying that these cannot be sent at this stage they will only be sent whey you get a query(221g). So when i appeared for the interview i got blue 221g asking for additional documents from my petitioner.Although i was asked to submit just 4 documents from my petitioner these people stopped replying to my email and phone calls too. Finally i decided to find out if h1b transfer from india is possible even after getting 221g and the answer to that is 'YES' h1b can be transferred to a new company and if the transfer is filed in premium processing the entire process takes hardly ten days to get a new approval.Since we already have a valid h1b approval the new petition can be filed anytime and we are not subject to cap.My new company filed my h1b transfer in the first week of dec i got my approval around second week of december .Even before receiving my documents through FedEx i booked my appointment on 31st december and got my visa .

Me: Maam i have written to emails to [email protected] saying that i wanted to withdraw my application.

Vo: Sir the info has not yet been updated in the system .I would like you to write in a piece of paper that you would like to withdraw your aplication.

Me:I will do that maam.( In a paper handed by the VO i wrote that I would like to withdraw my application from AIM-CC)

Vo:Sir so for how long have you been working for xx(my current company in india)

Me: I have been working for YY months.Vo:Sir your passport will be sent to you in a weeks time and all the best to you.

Me: ThankYou maam and a very happy new year to you. Note: My project was an inhouse project but i wasnt asked any question about my project.
Important:So for all those people who have got a 221g and have not yet recieved any documents from your petitioner or who have submitted their documents but no response from the consulate.If you guise are interested and dont want waiste your time ....let me know about it by sending me your resume and your current status to [email protected].
