First of all thanks immihelp and god.
I hope we all are aware of visa procedure.
My experience was quite thrilling and its bring new question to the market as well.

here we go>>>>>>>>>>>>>

1- Why are you going?
2- where are you going to work? (client/company office)
3- what are your specialized skills.
4- what is that
5- are you dnt think that everyone in this room knows it?
6- who is your manager
7- do you know him
8- where he born ? LOL (i replied i dnt know)
9- do you really know him? yes
10- ok what his age ? (i guessed and told him that around 35 and he replied yes you hit the bull eye he is actually of 35!!!! jai ho sai baba ke)
11- what is his visa category?
12- his was visa approved for some different location but he is currently at some other location why??
13-do he is with you in your office over there or mentoring you from some other location?

and his system stopped responding for a while and one my specialized skill is performance tunning of an application and at that moment i grabbed the opportunity to told him that this my specialized skills and its benefits.
he smiled and stamped my documents and told me ok good luck.

Why r u going to US...
Me: Explained all about my project and specialized knowledge...
VO: Its clearly not approvable now.

3) How Long with the same client?
4) What kinda things you work on for your client?
5) Single?
6) Where will you sit?
7) Who will you report to?
8) Where are you traveling to?
9) Is it your first time to US?

Hey i have one question, please help me with u r experience. I went 2 months back for L1B and unfortunately my visa got rejected. My company applied for L1-Individual now, hopefully i will be attending visa interview @ Chennai again in Novermbee with L1 Individual.

Please let me know, what is the success rate and will Chennai VO can again reject L1-Individual evern though it is approved in USCIC.

My interview last for 3-4 minutes. At last she approved it. You will receive your passport in 5 working days.

Please help and guide me regarding the below query.I went to kolkata consulte for H1B visa where i got 221g now again i am going for l1b visa after 2 years if petion will get approved.Will it success?

Interview was scheduled in Mumbai at 8:30 AM. I reached the consulate at 8 AM sharp. After standing for about 45 minutes, we were asked to proceed for Security Check. At that time, Please keep your PassPort, Interview Confirmation Page and DD (For L1A Blanket) handy.

After security check, you have to handover the interview confirmation page at the counter. They will give you a green envelope with the documents and a Pink token and will indicate the counter for biometric scan.

You handover your passport, and the documents at the counter after your biometric scan and sit in the lobby.

Pay attention to the announcements, they will call for your token number. After 30 mins my number was called.

You have to go inside an enclosed booth for your interview.

VO: Good Morning Sir, How are you doing today.
ME: Very well how about you?

VO: How long have you been working with XYZ?
ME: 18 Months

VO: Where were you prior to this?
ME: XYZ for 3 years

VO: Area of specialization?
ME: XYZ

VO: Interesting, tell me more about it..
ME: Explained in brief

V0: Who is your reporting manager
ME: XYZ

VO: Where will you be working, Client or company office?
ME: XYZ

VO: You have worked with your company only for 18 months - do you have prior experience in your area of specialization?
ME: Yes, XYZ duration

VO: Thank you sir, I am approving your visa and will finish some paper work
ME: Thank you officer

VO: How many people report to you?
ME: XYZ

VO: Handed over the documents
ME: Thank you again and have a good day ahead.

Thanks to this wonderful site which has given lot of information to many ppl like me to boost the confidence. I already had visas for 4 different countries earlier including US B1 visa, but this was my first application for US work visa - so i had butterflies flying all around in my stomach just like others.

My L1 Blanket Visa was approved today.

My Interview was scheduled at 9 AM, I was with my family at the consulate by 8:30, Hyderabad Consulate simply rocks.. excellent facilities compared to other locations I have seen. Since I was with my kid I got a VVIP treatment thanks to my kiddo. Done will all the formallies security check, dd, finger prints then waited for 10 mins for my call ...

VO: Scanned my docs, checked his PC for more details.. never looked at me at all then asked my just 1 question

What will you do in US ?
My Ans : Blah Blah Blah...(Simply & Short)

checked his system for another 1 min, stamped my I29 papers, took the passports and the golden words you will get your passports in a week's time(I will take this as VISA Approved).
